Jason Doherty
In 1984, Jason started working as an artist drawing patterns for stained glass windows right out of high school. He is a classically trained fine artist-University of Minnesota and Minneapolis College of Art & Design. He was a full time union commercial Illustrator/graphic artist for nearly 15 years while tattooing part time. He worked his way up through the arts industry, striving to create excellent tattoos and a tattooing atmosphere that was uplifting, positive, and unique. As he progressed in tattooing, Jason realized he wanted to have his own shop where the focus was his quality art. This lead to the creation of Gilded Heart Tattoo Studio.
